What you'll do (responsibilities)

We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer who excels at building robust, scalable systems and delivers high-quality code that impacts end-users.

• Build core platform features. Design and implement key components of our platform using Bubble and React, focusing on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Scale infrastructure. Develop and maintain scalable backend services in Python that handle data processing from LIMS, ELN, and other scientific systems.
• Drive technical excellence. Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment while mentoring other team members.
• Collaborate across teams. Work closely with leadership and scientists to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Ensure system reliability. Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to maintain high availability in a GxP-regulated environment.
• Innovate continuously. Research and prototype new technologies to keep our stack modern and efficient.

What we're looking for (qualifications)

You're an experienced Software Engineer with a track record of delivering robust solutions in complex environments. You thrive in a high-autonomy, high-impact role.

• Frontend expertise. Strong experience with Bubble.io and React for building sophisticated web applications.
• System design skills. Proven ability to architect scalable, maintainable systems and microservices.
• Database proficiency. Experience with Postgres, including optimization and data modeling.
• Backend development. Strong background in Python development and RESTful API design.
