What you'll do (responsibilities)
We're looking for an experienced Scientific Sales Engineer who excels at bridging the gap between complex technical solutions and customer needs in the life sciences.
- Lead technical discussions. Drive detailed technical conversations with scientists and R&D teams, demonstrating how Alchemi's platform solves their specific challenges.
- Create solution architectures. Design and present technical solutions that align with customers' scientific workflows and infrastructure requirements.
- Support customer success. Work closely with customers during proof-of-concept phases, ensuring successful platform adoption and integration.
- Guide product development. Translate customer feedback and market needs into concrete product requirements, working closely with our engineering team.
- Build relationships. Develop strong partnerships with scientific stakeholders, from bench scientists to technical leadership at biotech and pharma companies.
- Drive technical content. Create compelling technical documentation, presentations, and demonstrations that showcase our platform's capabilities.
What we're looking for (qualifications)
You're an experienced Scientific Sales Engineer with a strong technical background in life sciences and a track record of driving complex B2B sales. You thrive in a high-autonomy, high-impact role.
- Scientific expertise. Strong background in life sciences, preferably with experience in drug development or biotech.
- Technical acumen. Deep understanding of scientific workflows, laboratory information systems, and R&D processes.
- Sales experience. Proven track record in technical sales, particularly in enterprise B2B software or scientific tools.
- Communication skills. Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, from scientists to executives.
