What you'll do (responsibilities)
We're looking for an experienced AI Engineer who excels at building robust, scalable systems and delivers high-quality LLM integrations that impact end-users.
- Build AI features. Design and implement key components of our platform using LLMs and prompt engineering, focusing on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Scale AI infrastructure. Develop and maintain scalable systems for AI model deployment, prompt management, and complex data processing from scientific systems.
- Drive technical excellence. Establish best practices for prompt engineering, testing, and deployment while mentoring other team members.
- Collaborate across teams. Work closely with scientists and leadership to understand domain requirements and deliver impactful AI solutions.
- Ensure system reliability. Design and implement monitoring, evaluation, and testing systems to maintain high accuracy and reliability in a GxP-regulated environment.
- Innovate continuously. Research and prototype new LLM applications and prompt engineering techniques to keep our stack modern and efficient.
What we're looking for (qualifications)
You're an experienced AI Engineer with a track record of delivering robust LLM solutions in complex environments. You thrive in a high-autonomy, high-impact role.
- AI/LLM expertise. Strong experience with LLM integration, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
- System design skills. Proven ability to architect scalable, maintainable AI systems and prompt management infrastructure.
- Database proficiency. Experience with Postgres, including vector storage and embeddings.
- Cloud infrastructure knowledge. Strong background with AWS or similar platforms for deploying and scaling AI applications.
